This video shows the function of the larynx in a 35 yr old female patient with true vocal cord nodules.  The patient had a 1 pack year history of smoking and quit 17 years ago.  This condition is also called " screamer's Nodes and singer's nodes ".  The nodules form from vocal abuse.  This condition is treated with speech therapy.
