The patient is placed on his back with his head turned to one side and
hanging over the end of the table (Halpike-Maneuver). The ear which
is causing the dizziness is placed downward. The PRM is then
performed slowly over 2 minutes. The position of the patient's head
is not changed to his body. A vibrator is used to help mobilize the
particles.
