Superiorly Based Nasolabial Flap for Nose Reconstruction
in a Patient With Basal Cell Carcinoma ( Skin Cancer )

A patient with a large right nasal defect after excision of a basal cell carcinoma skin cancer.   Most cancers in this area are due to sun exposure. A nasolabial flap is constructed.  The blue area is excised to allow the flap to be rotated and seated in place in a single stage.

   The flap is rotated in place and sewn into position with little tension.
