This video is from a 47 year old female patient with a 45 pack year history of smoking
.  She has had a hoarse voice for over a year.  On fiberoptic laryngoscopy she was found to have large vocal cord polyps.  Notice how thin the overlying mucosa is and the clear gelatinous material in the polyps allow visualization of the vocalis tendon.
