This video shows a patient with a functional (non-organic) voice disorder.  The patient was a 25 year old female who did not have a history of smoking.  Stress and anxiety can often cause this disorder.  Notice that although the voice is weak and tremulous the larynx appears normal and the patient has a normal cough.
