Bryan Bemiss, ARNP
joined Cumberland Otolaryngology in July, 2002. Bryan is 2001 graduate of EKU Family Nurse Practitioner
Program. He holds a Masters of Science in Nursing and is ANCC certified.
Prior to joining Cumberland Otolaryngology Consultants, Bryan worked as
an RN in the Somerset area for over 14 years. Bryan is now accepting
appointments and is proficient in ear wax and foreign body removal,
and fiberoptic laryngoscopy. He is also accepting new patients for the
evaluating and management of chronic tonsillitis, chronic otitis media,
airway obstruction in children and hearing loss in all ages.
Before coming for your
appointment, be sure to bring any information your doctor has given you
about your condition. If
you have had blood work drawn please bring the results with you.
If you have had x-rays taken please bring both the report and the
x-ray films with you. This
is very important in the evaluation of sinus disease.
Also, bring a list of all your
medications and dosages. If
you are not sure, just bring in the medicine bottles.
If you must cancel your
visit please give us 48 hours notice.
Payment is expected at the time of the visit.
Managed care has
complicated life for all of us. Many
patients are upset if they are asked about their insurance before seeing
the doctor. However, if you have a managed care policy and do not have
the proper certification numbers or referral your visit may be denied
(especially true for KENPAC).
Also check your policy to see if it will cover our services. We have over 1500 insurance plans in our system and they
change constantly. It is
not possible to keep up with them all.
You may download
